These seeds contain a reddish-orange colorant known to be primarily used in Foods but also in cosmetics, Dairy industry and textiles. Annatto trees are a native tree to the amazon basin found in Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean and Even Asia.
Annatto is a natural carotenoid colour extracted from the coatings of seeds from the tropical achiote shrub and can be used in either oil-soluble (bixin) or water-soluble (norbixin) forms. It ranges from yellow to orange to red-orange in hue depending on the application and dosage rate. This natural colour is a staple in the food and beverage industry, especially dairy, because it provides stable, economical orange shades. Certified Organic liquid and powder annatto is available.

We supply Annatto Seeds in 20ft or 40ft containers depending on client requirements, packaged in 25kg Black colour Vacuum bags to avoid light shade.
We guarantee a moisture/humidity below 8%. Each container is fitted with double corrugated paper lining and and dry bags to ensure that the goods arrive at their destination in best possible condition.
